Sri Lankan Airlines has come forward to clarify the misinformation circulating on social media concerning the alleged mishandling of travel arrangements for Venerable Ajahn Brahm, a prominent Buddhist monk. The airline vehemently denies any involvement in the incident and asserts that the reports are completely false.
The airline has clarified that Venerable Ajahn Brahm was not originally booked on their flights during the incident at Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday(31).
The airlines further stated that, despite not being responsible for the initial booking, Sri Lankan Airlines exhibited exemplary customer service by promptly stepping in to assist Venerable Ajahn Brahm in finding an alternative flight. The airline went beyond its obligations to ensure that the esteemed monk could continue his journey without further inconvenience.
Thus, Sri Lankan Airlines emphasizes that the claims are baseless and urges the public to verify the information before sharing it on social media.
