Sri Lanka Festival becomes a thing to do in Melbourne this weekend

The Sri Lankan community in Melbourne, Australia is readying for their much-awaited Sinhala Avurudu event, the Sri Lankan Festival at Queens Victoria Park Melbourne. The Festival coincides with Sri Lanka’s flagship annual cultural event Sinhala Aluthu Avurudu ( New Year) and several entertaining events and culinary expositions have been organized.
The event will be held on the 28 of April from 10 AM to 4 PM
Melbourne Sri Lanka festival has been recognized by certain Australian media as a must-visit event or thing to do in Melbourne for Aussies this week.
According to the organizers, several cultural events and live performances by local artists, traditional dance displays, and engaging workshop activities have been organized. .Most events are focused on making Sri Lanka unique.

Sri Lanka Festival will be glamoured with Sri Lankan culinary delights, from the savory goodness of kottu, hoppers, and curries to the sweetness of traditional sweets.
As seen in previous successful Sri Lankan events at the market, Awurudhu Pola has the power to bring people together.
