Former Director of the CID SSP Shani Abeysekara is preparing to testify before the Easter Commission today virtually from the Colombo National Hospital. He is currently receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.
It is reported that the technical officers of the Presidential Commission to Investigate the Easter Attack are at the scene in order to facilitate the relevant evidence to be given live through a video conference.
A team from the CID had also gone to the scene with the relevant files to assist him in giving evidence.
