Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Roman Marshavin, arrived in Sri Lanka this morning for a three-day official visit. He was accompanied by two members of his delegation.
During his visit, he is expected to hold discussions with Sri Lankan energy officials regarding the country’s recent request for oil imports. He is also scheduled to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs following the energy-related discussions.
Mr. Marshavin arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake from Moscow, Russia.
