Former Minister Rishard Badiudeen has been admitted to the Emergency Treatment Unit of Colombo National Hospital today (17).
The former Minister who was in detention under CID in terms of the provisions of the Prevention of terrorism act has informed CID officers about indisposition this morning.

Accordingly, they have taken him to the National Hospital for treatments. Following the examinations he has been admitted to the EmergencyTreatment Unit of the Hospital, Police Spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana said.
