The Ministry of Education has decided to call for a report to ascertain the level of completion of the syllabus intended for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year.
Ministry secretary Prof. Kapila Perera said that the reports would be obtained through the Zonal Directors of Education.
Accordingly, it is planned to review the subject matters that have already been completed in relation to each subject of the GCE Ordinary Level and the action to be taken for that further.
The Ministry of Education stated that the GCE Ordinary Level Examination is scheduled to be held from January 17.
