Former United National Party (UNP) MP Palitha Rangebandara said the government should stop with the drama and instead look for MP Rishad Bathiudeen in the houses of the most powerful government politicians. “Rishad can be found in minutes if so,” he told Lankasara.

“For a week the government has deployed six Police teams and are looking for Rishard Bathiudeen. They are looking for him everywhere but they can’t find him. This is a joke. Why are they providing amusements to the public like this.. This causes embarrassment to the Police as well” he said.

“I challenge the government to deploy these Police teams and check the houses of the most powerful government politicians in the country. Rishad can be found in 10 minutes..” he said.

According to Range Bandara, all this drama would stop following the presenting of the 20th Amendment to the constitution to the parliament.
