Protesters told to leave Gotagogama before Friday!

Gotagogama protesters have been told by the Fort Police to leave the protest area immediately. According to the Police they will be given time till 5 pm on Friday to vacate the area

Police officers who reached the area today made a public announcement using loudspeakers requesting the protesters to leave the area before 5 pm on Friday.

The notice says that all unauthorized constructions and temporary shelters on the land belonging to the government or the Urban Development Authority should be removed immediately.

It has been strongly emphasized that such withdrawal must be done before 5 pm tomorrow (05).

The police informs that people who do not do so will be dealt with legally.
