Member of Parliament Mano Ganesan says that the President will bring the proposal for the formation of a national government to Parliament on the 25th and that he and MP Rauf Hakeem hope to request the opposition to join the national government.
Mano Ganesan earlier stated that both him and MP Rauf Hakeem tried to merge the Samagi Jana Balawegaya with the United National Party, but the SJB party leadership did not comply.
Same day,on the 25th April President Ranil wickramasinge is going to present to the agreement between the government and the InInternational Monetary Fund ,to the Parliament .l
The Anti-Terrorism Act is also scheduled to be presented to Parliament on that day. Many organizations led by the Tamil National Alliance have decided to declare a full hartal campaign in the north and east in protest.
