A brother of a former president is preparing to contest the next presidential election in 2024 as a common candidate a reliable source told to Lankasara .
The sources further said that the political brother, who is already well known in the country, has started a social media campaign to enhance his image and plans to engage with talented social media personnel to further expand the image building campaign.
Although he has not yet decided under which alliance he will contest the Presidential election but has discussed the matter with his close associates and some of his friends who have requested him to contest the Presidential election. Those fans and friends have asked him to run for the next presidency because of his ability to overcome overcome challenges based on the success he has achieved so far in his field.
He is currently working to create a network across the country that is unique to him and has established close ties with the university community, and he hopes to engage various scholars in his election campaign and spend large sums of money on his campaign, the sources said.
Meanwhile, local government sources tell Lankasara that they have received proposals from political leaders to field another prominent businessman and a well-known specialist doctor as the common candidate.
