President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today promised to secure the right of every citizen to live life with dignity regardless of age, gender, sexuality, race, physical appearance, and beliefs. The President made the announcement on Twitter to mark the International Zero discrimination day.
Many other world leaders also took to Twitter to mark the day. Pope Francis in a tweet said “I ask government leaders, businesses, international organizations to cooperate and to seek a solution for everyone regarding Covid: vaccines for everyone, especially for the world’s most vulnerable and needy people.
