The electricity supply to the official residence of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa in Wijerama was disconnected yesterday (07) due to outstanding electricity charges.
The power disconnection took place in the afternoon and is reportedly linked to non-payment of electricity bills. It’s worth noting that the electricity board had been providing power to this official residence, which the former president resides in.
