Dinasena Rathugamage –
After 35 years, the Palaly Main Road in Jaffna has been fully opened to the public from today (10th).
A stretch of about 2.5 kilometers from the Vasavilan T-junction had previously been closed after it was designated as a high-security zone.
Many roadblocks that had been set up on this road have now been removed, and the public is allowed to travel along the road without any difficulty between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.
However, photography, video recording, parking of vehicles, and speeding are prohibited on this road.
