The couple arrested by the CID for posing for an obscene pornographic video near the Pahanthudawa waterfall in Balangoda has been released on police bail.
The couple has been diagnosed with the Covid 19 virus and the case against them under the Pornography and Penal Code has been referred to court on the 15th of this month, police sources said.
The 34-year-old man involved in the video is a fashion photographer and is married, police said. It has been revealed during interrogation that he had made such videos with the 25-year-old girl whom he had met while he was doing fashion photography.
They have sold the produced videos to an American website with the intention of making money. They have travelled to various parts of the country and produced about 20 such pornographic videos Police sources further said ‘
