Opposition asks for a time from all Bishops to say what they know about Easter Sunday attacks

The Catholic Bishops ‘Conference of Sri Lanka (CBCL) was requested today by the Parliamentarians of Opposition to hold a discussion with several members of the Opposition on the details of their knowledge of the Easter Attack.

Addressing to the Chair Bishop’s Conference of Sri Lanka Rev.Dr. Winston Fernando Chief Organozer of Oppostion MP Lakshman Kiriella says most important thing uncover the real culprits behind this brutal attack on Christians in the country on Easter Sunday is need of the hour.

Pointing out the need of the discussion with the Bishops’ Conference The Opposition says that they and the public had been given only one volume for their study, despite the fact that the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the attack had compiled a large volume of eight volumes of 37,000 pages of evidences.

A letter to the President of the Bishops’ Conference has been presented to whom the full details of the case have been prepared.
Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella, Members of Parliament Patali Champika Piranawaka, Dr. Harsha de Silva, Eran Wickramaratne, Manusha Nanayakkara, Nalin Bandara at the Colombo Church He also made a special request to the Archdiocese for comment.
