Police say that there is an attempt to establish the belief that business leader Dinesh Shafter committed suicide even before sufficient scientific evidence is found to establish the cause of death.
These sources further confirmed that, so far, no evidence has been received to confirm that Mr. Shafter committed suicide. During the Magisterial Inquiry held in this regard, no statement was made by anyone to suggest such an idea.
In relation to Shafter’s death on the 15th of December, 14, DNA tests and government analyst tests have been conducted, and samples have been sent; none of those reports has been received so far, and there is no evidence to confirm that he committed suicide. The police and other departments have expressed surprise about the cooked-up story.
According to these sources, statements have been obtained from about 75 people, including Mr. Shafter’s wife, family members, his closest officer who went to rescue him, Borella Cemetery employees, and those closely related to Mr Shafter’s business. In addition, a series of investigations are underway.
These sources disclosed that he went to the Borella cemetery on the day prior to the incident and that there was no evidence that he had practiced suicide, and a certain conclusion about his death can be reached based on these statements and the results of the scientific evidence he declared.
