The new political alliance comprised with 10 independent political parties in the Parliament will be launched tomorrow (04) under the Chairmanship of Wimal Weerawansa at Maharagama Youth Service Auditorium.
Udaya Gammanpila, the leader representing the alliance, said that the new alliance is being formed to establish a new political culture in the country.
He said that the decisions of the new alliance formed under the chairmanship of Wimal Weerawansa will be taken by a leadership board, and the representatives of all the parties joining the alliance will represent the leadership board.
Gammanpila further said that there is scope for joining any political party or group in the country with the new alliance that strengthens the power base of the people apart from the traditional power bases.
He further said that all plans have been made at the ground level to achieve victory in an election.
