Professor Ravi Kuruppuge has been appointed as the new Dean of the Faculty of Management at the University of Peradeniya.
The unanimous decision of the Faculty Board led to his appointment, and he officially assumed office last Friday (18).
Professor Ravi Kuruppuge holds an impressive academic background. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Peradeniya. He further pursued his education with a Bachelor of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colombo, followed by a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Kelaniya. Additionally, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Republic of Poland.
Following the tenure of the former Dean, Professor Atula Ekanayake, the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Management elected Professor Ravi Kuruppuge to assume the role of Dean.
