In a press conference held today (13) at the Presidential Media Center under the theme ‘One way to a stable country,’ Ali Sabri, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and President’s Counsel, revealed that a new anti-terrorism bill, developed in accordance with international criteria, is set to be published in the gazette in the coming days.

Minister Ali Sabri highlighted that the revision of the existing Prevention of Terrorism Act was undertaken with the primary objective of creating a balanced legal framework that safeguards the human rights of the country’s citizens.

The upcoming publication of the new anti-terrorism bill is expected to be a crucial step toward achieving this balance in the legal framework governing counterterrorism efforts in the country.
