The Ministry of Education has announced that it has reached an agreement in principle to address the salary issues faced by National College of Education lecturers, effective from January 2024. A Cabinet memorandum has been submitted, and the proposal is now under consideration by the Cabinet Sub-Committee.
Furthermore, the Ministry has engaged in discussions with the World Bank’s ‘GEM’ project to secure provisions for emergency repairs and maintenance, aimed at addressing essential infrastructure problems in the colleges.
Additionally, the Ministry of Education has informed the deans about the commencement of registration for new students for college recruitment, beginning on 10th August 2023.
