The Twitter account of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been hacked by someone this morning.
Twitter says it has taken steps to secure the account and is “actively investigating” the situation.
The account has reportedly sent tweets to account followers asking them to donate money to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund through Cryptocurrency.
Narendra Modi’s Twitter account has 2.5 million followers and about 37,000 tweets.
