The Tamil Nadu Police yesterday (Jan. 20) arrested seven suspects along with 10.5 kilograms of narcotic ICE, prepared to ship to Sri Lanka in Tuticorin . Tamil Nadu police says that the worth of the narcotics are over Rs. 400 million in Sri Lankan currency.
Three of the seven suspects are Sri Lankans and they have tried to smuggle the drug to Mannar as five packs. Rest of the four suspects have been identified as Indians.
Police have taken steps to produce the seven suspects in a state court in Tamil Nadu.
