A 25-year-old man has been apprehended by authorities following reports of an individual observed scaling a wall into the Royal Mews area, adjacent to Buckingham Palace.
The arrest occurred outside the stables, which serve as the residence for the historic royal carriages, and took place at approximately 01:25 BST. The detained individual is being held under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act on grounds of suspected trespassing.
Fortunately, Scotland Yard confirmed that the intruder did not gain access to the stables or the valuable contents within. The man has been transported to a London police station for further questioning.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this trespassing incident continues.
