Maithree says they are not forced by members to leave the government

Grassroots party members of Sri Lanka Freedom Party are not forcing step down from the government coalition and their main concern is to reorganize the party SLFP Party leader and Former President Maithreepala Sirisena told today(29). “As the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, we have a plan based on our policies. We have submitted our views to the government from time to time. We are with the government and provide the necessary support to the government. We do not have the question of who rules which party. We are responsible for the country and the people. “The party members in the villages are very keen to organize to strengthen the Sri Lanka Freedom Party. They have not raised the issue of leaving the government or asking for it separately. Basically, everyone wants to strengthen the party. I will go with the group of MPs to each district for the party reorganization program. “
