Two new ministers have been sworn in following an emergency cabinet reshuffle by the president.
Gamini Lokuge has been sworn in as the new Minister of Energy by Udaya Gammanpila. Pavithra Wanniarachchi has also been sworn in as the new Minister of Power and Energy.

Gamini Lokuge had told the Derana news team that although Dinesh Gunawardena and SB Dissanayake were present, he did not know whether they had been sworn in as ministers.
