Retail price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of Litro domestic LP gas has been reduced by Rs.150 with effect from midnight today. The new retail price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of Litro domestic LP gas will be Rs. 3,790.
Accordingly, the price of a 5kg cylinder of gas has been reduced by Rs. 60, and its new price will be Rs. 1,525.
The retail price of a 2.3 kg cylinder of gas will be reduced by Rs. 28, and its new price will be Rs. 712.
According to Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris the price revision was based on the monthly effective price formula.
Meanwhile Laugfs Gas PLC also announced a its reduction of the prices effective from midnight today . A 12.5kg domestic cylinder, will be reduced by Rs.160 to Rs.3,680.
The 5kg cylinder will be reduced by Rs.65 and the new retail price will be Rs. 1,477.
