Litro Chairman Muditha Peiris says that it has been decided to reduce the price of Litro Gas from Monday midnight. He also said that the price reduction will be announced after midnight on Monday.
He says that according to the price formula introduced last month, this price reduction will happen along with the price fluctuations in the world market.
According to him that more than 5 million domestic gas cylinders have been distributed all over the island in the market and all the representatives have gas cylinders.
The chairman also said that they are working to introduce an app for Sri Lankans abroad or foreigners to order a gas cylinder for their friends in this country by paying money in dollars. The chairman said that the gas cylinder can be obtained by paying an amount of 15 dollars and this is expected to increase the dollar reserves needed by the country.
