Kandy people to inoculate with Suptnik v Covid vaccine from next week , Media Minister and Cabinet Spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella said. According to him the first batch of 50,000 Russian-made Sputnik vaccine will be distributed to the district.
The Minister announced that this vaccination will completely cover the eligible people of the city.
The Minister revealed this while addressing the media after a meeting at the Governor’s Office in the Central Province .
The vaccine will be given to the people of Kundasale, Meda Dumbara, Pathadumbara, Kandy city limits and Gangawata Koralaya areas where Covid is most prevalent.
