In a note shared on X (formerly Twitter), Wijesekera said that if credit is to be given for developing the QR-based fuel management platform, it should go to Jayantha De Silva and his team at the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka, Supun Weerasinghe and his team at Dialog Axiata PLC, and Shevan Goonathilake and his team at MillenniumIT ESP.
