Ongoing heavy rains have resulted in flooding in several areas of Colombo, including Colombo Fort, Maradana, Panchikawatta, Borella, Sedawatta, and Armor Street. The inclement weather has led to significant disruptions across the city.
In addition to flooding, numerous roads in Colombo were blocked due to fallen trees, causing further inconvenience to commuters. Several vehicles also sustained damage in these adverse weather conditions.
