Essential services such as medication dispensation, laboratory tests, X-ray examinations, scheduled surgeries, outpatient consultations, and clinical treatments are being severely affected.
Union convenor Ravi Kumudesh has stated that union leaders will convene a meeting at 2 pm to discuss further actions regarding the strike.
Additionally, trade union leaders have expressed their willingness to engage in discussions with the Ministry of Finance at any time.
Furthermore, Chanaka Dharma Wickrama, President of the Government Radiology Technologists Association, mentioned in response to an inquiry by Lankasara that they plan to hold a special meeting with their president and Murattettuwe Ananda Thero.
