Puttalam Kathi Court Judge Mohammad Rahmatullah Mohammad has been admitted to the Puttalam Hospital after lodging a complaint with the Puttalam Police stating that he was assaulted by Puttalam District Member of Parliament of the Muslim National Organization Ali Sabri and his son-in-law last night (26).
The complainant has told the police that the judge of the Kathi court was assaulted by MP Ali Sabri and his son-in-law after he was brought to MP Ali Sabri’s daughter’s house.
Meanwhile, Puttalam District Member of Parliament Ali Sabri has also lodged a complaint with the Puttalam police saying that he was assaulted by the Puttalam Kathi Court judge Mehmed Rahmattullah Mehmed while he was having a friendly chat with him.
The MP said that he wanted to go to the hospital complaining of chest pain due to the attack, but he had not been hospitalized as of this morning.
Puttalam police are conducting further investigations.
