The famous whale researcher Dr. Asha De Vos faces trouble in Canada!

Dr. Asha de Vos, a well-known marine biologist from Sri Lanka who specialises in the study of whales, recently tweeted about an unexpected predicament encountered while she was in Canada to conduct a lecture.

According to Asha de Vos, she was the main speaker at an event held in Victoria BC, Canada. There, when she entered the venue from the main entrance, she was stopped by the lady who was in charge of registration immediately and was ordered to enter through a different entrance than is for janitors.

Dr. Asha de Vos has done a lot of research on whales and runs a research institute called Oceanswell in Sri Lanka. She is the daughter of a famous Sri Lankan architect, Ashley de Vos.

In 2018, Asha de Vos was named one of the 100 most influential women by the BBC in the respected field. She has conducted a variety of marine biology research projects and is renowned for being a leading speaker at research conferences.
