Drug lords Harak Kata and Kudu Salindu were caught in Madagascar!

Two of the most powerful drug traffickers in Sri Lanka, Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne alias Harak kata and Kudu Salindu Gunaratne known as Kudu Salindu, have been arrested in Madagascar foreign media reports.

The two have been arrested according to a red notice issued by the International Police. It is reported that eight people including five Sri Lankans have been arrested.

The Madagaskar media reports that among this group there is a Malagasy woman from Madagascar, who is said to be the wife of the drug kingpin and her father.

According to those reports, the country’s security forces arrested them last March 01 at Ivato International Airport in Madagascar.

They arrived in Madagascar last February and were arrested when they arrived at the airport to leave the country.

It is said that Harak Kata, who was pretending as a millionaire businessman on a business trip, was wearing a blue European dress when he was arrested and the rest of the team acted as his bodyguards and supporters.

According to these reports, 05 people, including Harak Kata, arrived in the country on February 12 in a private jet and the next day, these people arrived at the Antananarivo airport in an internal flight.

According to the Red Notice of the International Police, only Harak Kata has been clearly identified by the Madagascar security forces. But during the interrogation, it has been revealed that there is another powerful drug trafficker, Kudu Salidu, with them.

It has also been revealed that he has acted as the chief bodyguard of Harak Kata.

According to Madagascar reports, the two luxury vehicles and the mobile phones of the suspects were taken into custody by the security forces. It is also stated that the seized money was confiscated. It is stated in the media reports that this group is going to be deported to Sri Lanka.

On August 11, 2022, when he arrived at the airport to go to Malaysia from Dubai, Harak Kata was also arrested, according to an International Police Red Notice.

At that time too there was drug sali with him. However, at that time, they could not properly complete the legal matters required to bring them to this country and the Dubai Police worked to release them.
