Dr. Rukshan Bellana, President of the Government Medical Officers’ Forum (GMOF) yesterday (26) said that Dr Naveen Zoysa, the secretary of the GMOA, had requested from them to removal of Dr. Anuruddha Padeniya from the post of President of the GMOA.
Dr Bellana said this while he was addressing a special press conference at the Narahenpita Abhayaramaya.
He further said that Dr Naveen Zoysa has made this request to Ven. Murutthettuwe Ananda Thero and he is in possession of the relevant voice record .
“On the ethical grounds we wont disclose it to the public. But if it is challenged we will not hesitate to reveal it. ”
Dr. Rukshan Bellana said.
