Dr Harsha resigns ffrom COPE to accomodate Charitha

Dr Harsha de Silva MP says he would resign from the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE)  for  former COPE Chair Prof. Charitha Herath, wh was removed from the Committee to come in to the committee

Dr Silva who is the new chairman of Committee of Public Finance (COPF)  said in his Twitter handle

“I am resigning from COPE to pave way for Charitha Herath sacked by President Ranil Wickremesinghe controlled by Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.  As the Chair of the Committee on Public Finance (COPF), I have my hands full as I am transforming COPF and establishing the Parliament Budget Office,”
