Disciplinary action against derailed Fowzie

General Secretary of Samagi Jana Balavega Ranjith Maddumabandara says that the party has decided to take disciplinary action against Samagi Jana Balavega Member of Parliament A.H.M Fawzie, who voted in favor of the agreed resolution with the International Monetary Fund at yesterday’s parliamentary vote.

After a three-day debate on this proposal, in the voting held yesterday, Samagi Jana Balavegaya’s appointed MP A.H.M. Fauci had voted against the party’s opinion and voted in favor of the proposal.

Samagi Jana Balawega abstained from voting in this event.

W. D. J. Seneviratne, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Sudarshani Fernandopulle, Priyankara Jayaratne, who are separated from the government and is now in the opposition and TNA MP G. G.Ponnambalam also voted in favor of the resolution.
