A disciple of Hinatiyana Mahesh, allegedly involved in a murder plot, has been apprehended by the police in Katunayake.
The arrest took place during a raid conducted under the justice operation by the Katunayake police. At the time of the arrest, the individual was found in possession of 05 live bullets of nine mm type.
Upon further interrogation, it was revealed that the arrested person was a disciple of Hinatiyana Mahesh and had received a contract to kill two businessmen. Subsequently, the police managed to seize a nine mm type pistol and numerous live bullets intended for the planned murder.
Further investigations will likely shed light on the details of the alleged murder plot and any potential involvement of others.
