Health officials reveal how clusters of Covid are forming at the Katunayake Airport staff.
When we inquired about this, several senior health officials at the Katunayake Airport said that the virus was spreading rapidly among the employees working at the Katunayake Airport. They also said that a significant number of those being tested with Rapid antigens and PCRs due to corona symptoms, had been confirmed infected with the virus.
When we inquired, the Katana Administrative Public Health Inspector said that all the members of the 15 families of the employees living in the Katana area who work at the Katunayake Airport alone have been confirmed to be infected. Kulathilake revealed.
He added that all the members of the infected families, from the youngest child to the oldest, had been tested positive for the corona virus.
