The Government Information Department stated that it has decided to isolate several more areas from 5 am today (14). Accordingly, Mayura Place in Wellawatte Police Division, Naiduwa area in Kerawalapitiya Grama Niladhari Division and Duwewatta area in Welikadamulla Grama Niladhari Division as well as Wedikanda area in Hunupitiya North Grama Niladhari Division in Kiribathgoda Police Division will be isolated.
The Government Information Department also stated that the Thihariya North and Thihariya East Grama Niladhari Divisions of the Nittambuwa Police Division as well as Warana Temple Road, Kattota Road and Hidra Mawatha will be isolated.
Also, Marikkar Street in the Bulathsinhala Divisional Secretariat, Kalutara District, Vegangalla East and West Grama Niladhari Divisions and Kuda Heenatiyangala Grama Niladhari Division will be isolated from 5 am.
In addition, the isolation of several areas will be lifted from 5 am today.
Accordingly, the Sirisanda Sevana housing scheme, Sirimuthu Uyana, Lakhiru Sevana railway flats and Sirisara Uyana will be removed in isolation, the Government Information Department stated.
Also, Wattala – Kerawalapitiya Grama Niladhari Division, Hekitta Grama Niladhari Division, Kuruduhena Grama Niladhari Division, Awariwatta Grama Niladhari Division and Welikadamulla Grama Niladhari Division will be removed from isolation.
In addition, the Department of Government Information stated that the isolation of the Pattiya North Grama Niladhari Division of the Peliyagoda Police Division will be lifted from 5 am.
Accordingly, Modara, Kotahena, Grandpass, Aduruppu Street, Dam Street, Keselwatta, Maligawatta, Dematagoda, Maradana Police Divisions and, Slave Island – Wekanda, Borella – Wanathamulla, Wellampitiya – Salamulla Grama Niladhari Divisions and Laksanda Sevana Scheme, Ferguson Road, Slave Island – Hunupitiya Grama Niladhari Division, Hatewatta in the Cinnamon Gardens Police Division will continue to be isolated areas.
Also, Peliyagoda – Peliyagodawatta, Gangabada, Meegahawatta and Kiribathgoda – Welegoda North Grama Niladhari Divisions, Negombo – Thaladuwa Grama Niladhari Division MC Housing Complex and Hiripitiya South Grama Niladhari Division of Veyangoda Police Division will be further isolated.
