A special clarification has been provided regarding a circulating photograph showing Chief of Defense Staff General Shavendra Silva and his wife boarding a special jet. The Indian Air Force reportedly offered special facilities for General Silva’s official visit from Delhi to Dehradun to attend the Dispersal Parade of the Indian Military Academy (IMA).
It is reported that after his arrival in Delhi, General Silva was scheduled to fly to Dehradun in a special jet. The Indian Air Force provided this jet to General Silva as per standard protocol for dignitaries, considering his role as the chief guest for the event at the Indian Military Academy. The visit took place last Saturday (09).
