Chief Economic Advisor to India and a team to arrive Sri Lanka tomorrow!

A high level  Indian Economic delegation led by Chief Economic Advisor V. Anantha Nageswaran will be in Sri Lanka tomorrow (June 23) for some exclusive meetings Daily Mirror reported today. They will arrive to Colombo in  special aircraft and will stay in the country for a short time, around three hours the report says.

The delegation will hold talks with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The visit is consequent to the meetings held by Sri Lankan envoy in New Delhi Milinda Moragoda with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on June 20 where they started a new round of discussions on the current crisis i Sri Lanka.
