Veteran artist Jackson Anthony, who was admitted to the Anuradhapura hospital with serious injuries after his vehicle collided with a wild elephant , has now been referred to a special care unit.
Jackson Anthony, his brother Saman Anthony, and a young person named Iresh Lakmal were traveling in a vehicle following a film shooting in Buduruwakanda area in Galgamuwa collided with a wild elephant near the Moragoda tank on the Anuradhapura-Talawa road.

The police believe that the wild elephant was also injured and they could hear the elephant screaming.
