Cyclone ‘Burevi’ moved away from Sri Lanka today causing less damage than was first expected.However the cyclone has affected 12 252 people in six districts and left four injured. One person from Jaffna is missing according to the Disaster Management Center. Nearly 15 houses have suffered severe damage while 192 have suffered partial damage.
