Basil Rajapaksa, the founder of the Podujana Peramuna, arrived in Sri Lanka this morning (05) after his stay in the United States. His return to the island follows the announcement by the Podujana Peramuna of his visit for organizing activities related to the upcoming elections.
Reports from the airport indicate that a group of supporters from the Pohottuwa party had gathered at the airport to welcome Basil Rajapaksa upon his arrival.
