The Panadura Police arrested a lawyer and two other women following a scuffle at Silvan Lane, where the lawyer in question allegedly opened fire in the air.

The lawyer Dayan Siyambalapitiya is working in the Hulftsdorp court complex.

The conflict arose when the lawyer and two other women went to see another woman in order to force her to repay Rs. 3.5 million borrowed from one of the women who came with the lawyer.

When the argument between the two parties became heated, the husband of the woman at the Silvan Lane house apparently gathered a few people in a trishaw with the intention of attacking the lawyer. The lawyer, who felt that he was under siege, opened fire in the air.
