25 member Cabinet : rest of the ministers to be sworn in today

It has been decided to increase the number of cabinet ministers to 25 including The president and the prime minister, political sources said.
Accordingly, 13 new ministers have been sworn in besides the President and the Prime Minister while the remaining 10 cabinet ministers are scheduled to be sworn in today.

In addition, new Secretaries to Government Ministries also to be appointed today

According to reliable sources , S.M Chandrasena, EPDP leader Douglas Devananda, Mahinda Amaraweera, General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, CWC’s Jeevan Thondaman and others are present.

Minister Prasanna Ranatunga stated that the swearing in of state and deputy ministers will not take place today and that they will be sworn in another day.
