Israel has confirmed that 212 people connected to Israel are being held as hostages in the Gaza Strip.
So far, no one has made a definitive statement about these Israeli hostages who were taken to the Gaza Strip after the Hamas attack on the 7th.
Two of the hostages were released by Hamas yesterday (21); an American citizen mother and daughter.
Sri Lankan nurse Anula Jayathilake, who has now been confirmed murdered, was initially believed to be among the hostages.
