A boy who went to bathe in Akurala sea has drowned.
Ambalangoda Police say that the young boy has drowned and died after going swimming at Akurala beach.
His dead body was piled up on the Akurala beach and was found by the police yesterday (22) afternoon.
The body of the deceased has been taken to the Balapitiya Hospital.
The dead body has been identified by the relatives of the family as A.H.A.Sandeepa, a resident of Abagasthanna, middle fort area. He is a nineteen year old.
According to the investigation it has been revealed that he has come to a friend’s house where he had gone for a swim in the sea and died of drowning.
