Reusable sanitary napkins for the first time in Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan handloom products manufacturer Selyn has introduced reusable sanitary napkins for the first time in Sri Lanka. Reusable fabric sanitary napkins are considered to be the most economical and eco-friendly solution. It is an environmentally friendly plastic-free alternative to the disposable napkins. 

According to Selyn these are manufactured by women of Sri Lanka at a fairtrade facility. Selyn has also pledged to gift a napkin to a woman in need for every napkin purchased by a customer. These can be purchased from their website.
